Bogenraith Equestrian is idyllic in its location, based right in the heart of stunning Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, where the scenery is truly spectacular.
With Aberdeen Port and Airport within 40 minutes of Bogenraith, we command the best location for a world class equestrian centre.
Our extensive restaurant is open to the public and community, as is our meeting/function room. Please contact us for any enquiries. On arrival at Bogenraith Equestrian you will be greeted and made to feel welcome by a dedicated member of staff who will be expecting you.
Nearby Towns
The tourist town of Banchory is approximately 15 minutes away and the beautiful, bustling seaside town of Stonehaven is 20 minutes. In both towns you will find an array of restaurants, public houses and a variety of shops and supermarkets.
Stonehaven’s harbour is stunning. Here you can enjoy a drink overlooking the harbour or take a tour of the ruins of Dunnottar Castle and dine afterwards in one of the various restaurants. Both towns have taxis.
Walking
There are many walking choices all within reach, with the upper part of Deeside covered by the Cairngorms National Park. Lower Deeside boasts some of the loveliest woodland walks and hills, stretching from Aboyne to Banchory.
To mention a few locally, there is Bennachie, Scolty Hill, Clachnaben, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve and the Deeside Way walk along the River Dee. Please see www.walkhighlands.co.uk to assist you some more.
Cycling
For the cycle enthusiast there are two bike shops in the area, one in Banchory and one in Stonehaven, and also two in Aberdeen city. There are many cycling routes to choose from as well as various local loops. Please refer to Aberdeen City Council for the Lower Deeside trail information pack at www.aberdeencity.gov.uk.
